Emergency Shelter

Men living on the streets in need of safe shelter are welcomed to the Mission’s Emergency Program for seven free nights—after this time a $6 dormitory fee is requested. The 80-bed dormitory for emergency guests is occupied each night on a first-come, first-served basis to anyone not under the influence of a controlled substance. Each guest receives the following services:
Nutritious meals / Clean clothing / Hot showers / Safe shelter / Nightly Bible studies / Christian mentoring
These broken men are taking the first step toward recovery by seeking emergency services and are treated with Christ-like respect and dignity throughout their stay.

Outreach

Each Sunday, the Mission opens its doors to those needing encouragement. The Hour of Power weekly chapel service is a special time when men on and off our programs are welcomed to hear an uplifting message from God’s Word alongside inspiring music.
Each month, the Men’s Division partners with several local churches to host “IDignity” events which help men and women in need obtain basic identification documents, including social security cards, birth certificates, Florida identification cards and driver’s licenses. The services are provided at no cost.
In addition, the Mission hosts four Banquets a year and gives out hygiene, clothing and other items.

Discipleship Work Program

Homeless men desiring to change their lives for good can enroll in the Mission’s Discipleship Program. Applicants are screened to determine their level of commitment and their capacity to benefit from the program.
Discipleship training consists of intensive Christian instruction and mentorship along with work therapy designed to develop self-discipline, work ethic and accountability. Each man is assigned job responsibilities at the Mission in order to gain stability and work experience.
