The foundation of the
Orlando Union Rescue
Mission's ministry, the
Victorious Life Program,
is a biblically based course
of study designed to lead
Mission residents into a
relationship with Jesus
Christ as their Lord and
Savior.
A requirement for all new
residents, the program is an
intensive 9:00 a.m. to 3:00
p.m. three-week introduction
to Christianity. Each
year hundreds of students
receive Christ as their
Savior or rededicate their
lives to the Lord.
When residents respond to
the foundational truth of
Jesus Christ, spiritual
strongholds are broken down,
opening the door to a new
set of priorities.
Spiritual growth is then
possible.
Upon graduation from the
Victorious Life Program,
students receive a
Certificate of Completion.
Residents can graduate with
honors if they memorize ten
specific Bible verses and
complete an inductive study
of the Gospel of John.
Residents who are unable
to attend the Victorious
Life classes during the
day due to work or
school obligations may attend evening classes
for the videotaped
portions of the course.
