Pray for the Mission

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. – Ephesians 6:18

Prayer is one of the most vital components in a Christian’s life. It is our direct connection to God. It also gives us the opportunity to commune with our Holy Father as well as to release our burdens, concerns, and frustrations—pressures we were never designed to carry.

Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. – 1 Peter 5:7

We believe in the power of prayer. And we know when prayers go up, blessings come down, because we have seen it happen. The guests in our care need all the prayer they can get, and who couldn’t use a little more intercession in their life? We need you to help us lift up our ministry in prayer. Would you become an intercessor for OURM? We appreciate everyone each and every person who prays for and with us.

ONGOING PRAYER REQUESTS

• Pray for our leadership and staff—that the Lord would give us wisdom, compassion and sound judgment in dealing with difficult situations.
• Pray for those we serve—that the Lord would minister to their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs during their time at the Mission.
• Pray for our financial needs—the Lord has been so faithful in providing for this ministry, yet we need the community’s continued support in order to keep serving the homeless.
• Pray that the residents at OURM will be blessed with employment in this harsh economic time.
