2015 Summer Newsletter – Mission Accomplished

 In Newsletter Story

We introduced you to single father Valerian Vidal and his four children in the December 2013 newsletter. They had been at O.U.R. Mission Home and “V” as he is known by everyone, had just found a construction job and was saving money so the family could have a home of their own. While V worked, the kids- 16-year-old Selena, Miguel (15), Nate (13) and Joe (12)- received help with their schoolwork and were mentored at the Mission.

The big day arrived this past February when they moved to a house in East Orlando. Since leaving, V has continued to work hard and he remains grateful for his time here.

“The Mission gave me the stability I never had. I was able to grow as a person, find a good job and save money so when it was time to leave, I could do it the right way; V says.

Success stories like this wouldn’t be possible without the support of friends like you. Your gift today will help ensure that more struggling families can become independent again.
