Together, We Transform Lives

Our Executive Team

Fred B. Clayton

Freddy Clayton is a fifth-generation Floridian who joined the Board of Directors of the Mission in 2010. He served as Vice Chairman until he became President and CEO in 2015. He began his professional career as a lawyer, handling litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and left the practice of law to enter business. He co-founded and sold two successful businesses, the first of which manufactures systems that generate and dispense fragrances for commercial applications. The second company creates and distributes interactive, online training programs for medical personnel. He received his A.B. from Davidson College and his J.D. (with honors) from the University of Florida College of Law. He and Susan, his bride of 37 years, raised their two grown sons in Orlando. Freddy and Susan are members of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Orlando, where they have been active in leadership roles and various ministries since they joined the church 28 years ago.

The Best Fit

It takes a wide variety of talents and personalities to keep the Mission running like a well-oiled machine. We believe, however, our united values unite our vision. That is why we ask that all of our employees be:

A Born Again Believer

Our team members should be guided by a personal relationship with Christ and passionate about the spiritual growth of the Mission guests.

Plugged Into a Church

Our team members should continue to develop their faith and accept accountability by gathering with other believers and seeking membership at a church.

Live a Life that Honors the Lord

No one is perfect. Our team members, however, should honor the Lord in their personal life by abstaining from behaviors and activities that the Bible deems immoral.

A Team Player

It takes a team to keep the Mission running. Your ability to maintain group harmony and treat others with respect is essential.
