Thank you from Teddy

Dear Friend,

Hello from the Orlando Union Recue Mission’s Men’s Home! My name is Teddy, and I just want  to thank you for your support and tell you how you’ve helped change my life.

I was a mess when I got here in September of 2013. I was out of work, homeless and on drugs. I came to the Mission for something to eat and a place to sleep, but I  found so much more.

As a result of your help, I’ve earned my high school diploma, attended culinary school and gotten a great job as a catering chef at the Grand Bohemian Hotel. Most importantly, I’ve dedicated my life to Christ.

I don’t like to think where I might be if not for the Mission and the friends like you who support it. Thank you for investing in me.
